What's a good due date for you guys? I've received quite a few messages that people have exams that are either on the due date of the DDC12 or somewhat close to it. I don't want to put the due date at such an inconvenient time, especially if you've got Summer break right around the corner. I don't want to extend the due date by too much though seeing that this wouldn't be fair on people who have already submitted entries.

How would an extra week be? Is the 9th of June okay, or would the middle of June be a bigger help? If also possible, let me know exactly the date your exams land on and I can try and cater to giving you all roughly a week after your exams.

I think middle of June would be best for me and Mitch, but if other members would rather have it on the 9th, that's fine, I don't want to hold anything up for the sake of finishing our entry.

My exams will end on June the 18th. After that, my hyper activity season for Pivot shall start. Not good enough for you? Too bad for me, then. You're being so generous, man. Give me a convenient extention and I'll owe you for life. (virtually, at least)

My exams end on June 12th or 13th I believe, so then I could start animating all day every day to finish my entry in time. Haha

I don't think I can join ddc12, but maybe ddc13- therefore I'd have to ask some questions,since I want to make a bigger project, and want to contribute here at the same time.
I'd make an animation where I'd need to have some parts made in stykz (not everything, just parts) in it and some effects with flash. would that be allowed for ddc?

What exactly are you trying to do? You should completely rule out the possibility of using pivot before you think about that.

Probably not, but you can however use utilize sprites, which means you can animate effects in whatever way you want and then import them into the canvas on Pivot.
