CometChat (Beta Testing)

We recently included a better chat system called CometChat since no one seemed to use the IRC chat that we have linked at the top. It lets you play basic browser games like Chess, Checkers, Battleship, 8-Ball Pool, Four in a Row, etc, against other members who are signed into the chat. It also has a single player section of browser games you can mess with. It's all linked up to thedarkdemon.com so once you log in to the site it should automatically log you into the chat with the correct username and avatar. You can create your own private chatrooms that are invite only or password protected. If you create your own chatroom and invite someone to it, you can also transfer files, so it makes working on joints easier for members who don't use other programs like Skype. IRC did the job, but this one is built right into the site and we can easily customize the layout of the chat so you will notice some changes to it eventually. We have some ideas in mind already, but if you encounter any issues or have suggestions let us know in this thread so we can work on them.

It's pretty neat but also a bit intrusive, not sure how much of the toolbar you can customize but the open chat window blocks the new reply button.

Big fan of this decision though.

It works great, but if we could add some other things to it i think i'd be a bit better. Like a different style if possible. I don't know, works fine and that's what matters.

The games are a bit naff imo but I suppose they could be decent for some people.
As said, the bar needs some styling but it could be decent.

I talked about this with Raymond and he has confirmed it'll get redesigned in the near future, so no need to worry gentlemen.

But yea I'm glad you guys like the idea of it. I know a lot of you have really wanted something like this. I also ask that you guys don't create an absurd amount of chatrooms. We've already had people abusing it. We'll have to see if we can prevent that...
