Christmas Banner Competition (Results)

Christmas Banner CompetitionHey everyone! Since the holidays are approaching, we have decided to host a competition to see who can create the best Christmas banner. We gave this a shot last year and a couple of you responded with some cool banners, so we decided to bring it back with a few small prizes this year.
Dimensions1110 x 200
Rules-Keep it safe for work (No pornographic images)
-Try your best to blend the left and right sides of the banner into the background of the website. (The background colour code is #194559)
-Make sure the theme has something to do with the up coming holidays (Christmas, New Years, Hanukkah, etc)
Due Date-If you would like to have a chance at one of the 3 prizes you must submit your entry on or before December 10th.
-You are allowed to continue making your banners past the due date, but you will not have a chance at the prizes. However if we like your banner we may end up using it, so you'll still have a chance at getting your banner featured on the front page.
Side Notes-If for some reason we only get 1 or 2 entries then the other prize(s) will be rendered null.
-Once submitted, we are entitled to use your banner as we please.
-Not all banners will be used
Prizes1st place: $20 through paypal or steam & VIP
2nd place: $10 through paypal or steam & VIP
3rd place: VIP
(If you already have VIP you can donate it to someone instead)

This looks cool. If, say, I won 1st or 2nd, could I decline the money and just have VIP? I really don't need money.

I don't know if my eyes are messing with me but I could have sworn earlier there was a note saying that the background could be animated and to submit that as a gif? Was that never a part of the post or is it still open to do?

Well sure, but you get both VIP and $20 for coming in first. Same with second you get $10 and VIP. I took it down because I wasn't sure if we could incorporate an animated banner, but we should be able to. So if you already started an animated banner, you can keep working on it. I'll try my best to add it to the site, but I can't guarantee anything.

Well, I lost my flash drive so I may as well do this instead. By the way, will an animated banner be more inclined win (if it is possible)?
Also, should we try to have the Dark-Reindeer included in our banner?

The staff members will be doing the judging. So whichever one impresses them the most is more likely to win. It doesn't have to be animated, but if it is and it's done well, it will just make it better.Hype wrote:Also, should we try to have the Dark-Reindeer included in our banner?

Alright guys so I made a mistake. The dimensions you should be using are 1110 x 200, not 1125 x 200. So for those of you who already submitted a banner, could you please re-size it. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I didn't realize those dimensions were wrong until I tried adding someones banner and noticed it was too wide.
Also, if you are making an animated banner, make sure you submit it to me as a .gif file. It's the only type of file that I can get to work with the coding. And please make sure you fix any gif rape.

Pfftt. Man, you don't say. I thought I could only make a picture, but gif animation? You should've tell me before I submit my entry. Is 2 entry allowed? I'm going to make the second entry if I had a time.

You can make as many entry's as you want.
