Exactly. I never get many entries by this point because they're usually submitted on the due date (or shortly beforehand). Everyone still has a little under 3 weeks, which is still enough time to animate 300 frames. You could animate 16 frames per day and still get it done.

The collab will likely have enough content. I'm not expecting it to be as long as DDC12, but 7 minutes would be enough for a collab. AlpK's entry will be 3 minutes so there's no reason to be worried, but please don't slack off if you're animating anything.

I could probably just postpone my work on Shadowlith while I animate something simple for this. The most stressful work is done anyway. Had a little neat idea going on in my head for a while, so I'll see if I can make it anywhere with it.

The majority of entries are sent in the last minute, so it's not worth worrying over yet. However guys, make these last couple of weeks count. I know we can make an awesome collab.

Dude, I'm think everyone's going to be releasing it on the actual due date xD that's kind of what I'm doing. Anyway, I have 2 mins 40 secs of animation right now, and I imagine the version I make for the DDC will be 2 mins 50 secs. Since the actual animation which I will be making for my channel is longer than that, I'm trying to get as much done of that longer version as I can so that it could be included in the DDC as well, as I presume it will need as much animation time as it can get. I really hope we've got more people working on it though!

I'm sorry to say that I haven't made much progress on my entry in the past few months, I think i got 300 frames of cinematics( not much action/movement) so far... I think I'll just save that project for another occasion and make something quick(perhaps a joint?) before the deadline

Better extend the due date for 1 more month.

I'm doing a lil' joint with Gifgiff for this and so far we did like 145 frames in two days, i'm positive that we're easily make it in time and i'm really looking forward to others' entries

Entries are now due on the 16th of April.

Alright guys I've decided to give you all one more month. This will be the final extension, so please don't procrastinate.

Part of the problem might have been giving too much time. Some people use this time, others put it off until the final weeks. The excitement dies down as well since it's been going for so long.

A month gives a sweet-spot for people to either finish up entries or start something. Some of you really want to animate something now, so I'm excited to see what you'll bring. Although I've only received a small number of entries, they're all fantastic and AlpK's will no doubt be mind-blowing.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed both in the general lack of excitement for this and also my poor management of it all. However, this is a DDC, what I've received is typical DDC quality and these collabs always seem to pull through. I still have faith in this, and really, all you guys need to do is have fun and animate 300 frames. Don't try to be perfect or stress out over it. Just animate something fun and hand it in.

Anyway, 1 months guys. I'd like to see any updates or screenshots too if you have any. :)
