Nice animation man. In my opinion the last flip is nice too.

I dont get how he flips so well with his arms behind him like that, or why he would put them down, he obviously didnt need to and its kinda an awkward pose. It all looked really smooth and nice. The first part of the second flip was kinda fast and looked weird compared to the spacing everywhere else.

I like your style, however i find some of these poses out of balance but its still entertaining to watch. Good job (thumbsup

I did like the first flip, but I felt like there should have been some anticipation. He just sort of moved into a flip without using his arms or back much. Everything else looked good.

I very much disliked the flips. They lacked any anticipation or basis in reality. Although the animation is smooth, it's hard to empathize with the completely nonhuman movements of the stickfigure. Keep your spacing and smooth style but work on using better poses with line of action and understanding weight distribution, laws of conservation of momentum, and general biomechanics relating to how human movement works.

I really dont understand, that black stickfigure line was a dry attempt at satire.

We've been over this. Not everything is based on realistic movements. Just because he doesn't make it in your realistic style Wray, doesn't mean it's bad.

I can completely understand, but as a fellow animator here, I have a right to criticize what I see as poor animation. part of animation is properly representing weight distribution, center of gravity, etc. when I feel as though an animation is less than optimum, I comment what could be fixed. There's a difference between different styles of animation and spacing, and simply not knowing how a specific movement works. with more practice, stripes could maintain the same awesome style, but create a more convincing frontflip through understanding of how a person makes himself flip over frontwards. The criticism I have given reflects that this is indeed what I want him to learn. He does not have to animate it just like me for me to consider it good.

I'm sure he really appreciates the CC, since it's from an awesome acrobatics animator like you, but this is in the freestyle section wraybies. I think you went a bit hardcore. xD

I liked it. Mainly how smooth it is. The flips seem hard to believe since there wasn't any build up of momentum. But you know this already. It's cool to see you animating in general though. :)
