Nice lights effects.
Running velocity in 3D was not correct. Whle running forward (in Z axis) stick's X axis velocity should slow down, because he changes his direction. To be told simply, inertia is everything. Watch it all the time and keep the velocity vector of each object in mind. UPD: Moreover, stick is running forward, so his movements must be slowed down in this camera angle.
Maybe before the punch you should've slowed down the stick's hand in order to make it not so fast. There's such word. Stiffness. It depends on a situation. Sometimes for implementing realism and physics you really need that stiffness.

Grey's movements are perfect, everything is ok.

Big thanks for explaining this all :D

Everything is fine, just have fun of animating. The more quality you put in implementation of movements, the more time it takes and more nervous you get.

Looking pretty good! However you didn't show as much power as Raymond did with the punch. His build up for the punch and also the way the stick snaps forward after the punch add the needed power to the punch! Your animation doesn't have that.

I would call that "an author's look".

Hmm when I look at Raymond's the grey stick is constantly following the black stick till he messes up and reveals a blind spot turning towards us yours however shows the grey stick simply turning around instead of keeping him in constant view personally I don't like how Raymond animates the arms but yeah also yours lacks power cause of the spinal movement all and all a pretty nice tribute though

I think I like your version better. It has some nice effects that spice it up. The only thing I thought looked off, people pointed out already. The parts where he's changing up directions. All his momentum is being transferred in a circle around the gray guy, so for a frame or two he should only be moving away from the screen and not from left to right. So it will appear to us like he's somewhat pausing during that time, which also generates momentum/wind up for the punch. I really like the lighting effects on the grey guy though. It's pretty cool that someone made a tribute to me too. :)

Oh, good work. When the stick turns left, his leg gives a locked. But that is very good.
