Itd be the fullbody, 3d, ball and the small vs big, would you be rewarded for all of those or just get the 2 in 1?

people could abuse this system by adding a ton of shit into one shitty animation just for the points

@cunt crusader: if people already think the 2 in 1 rule isn't fair this won't work out.

@Harry: damn. Thanks for telling me. I messed something up there. Great animation. :) 5PP still added, thought.

@Tops620: you made a great animation. But it still looks unfinished. That is why I don't want you to give you the full amount of PP :/

The voting denied the 2 in 1 rule. So it will get deleted.

tbh i think the amount of PP a person gets for a task should just be decided by Chris depending on how much effort he thinks went into it, rather than what the task is (except maybe the last two tasks worth 50PP and 100PP, because they are based on length. and contributor). On the list, most of the tasks are about the same difficulty but worth different PP. for example, look at the following tasks

Diver
Animate a dive into water

Tony Hawk
Animate a stick figure riding a skate board

Trapped!
Animate a Stick figure getting/being trapped inside of something trying to get out

Pair Of Rope And A Wood Plank
Animate a stickman on a swing

one of them is worth 2PP, one of them is 5PP, on of them is 10PP and one of them is 15PP. they all look about as easy as each other though, right? what would be better is if PP was awarded for effort/length, i think that makes it fairer. you could probably categorise the tasks into easy, medium and hard, which would be a good guide for awarding points for effort. i wouldnt mind doing that for you. as it stands, the points that a task is worth doesnt really correlate with how hard it is.
rant over lol. what do you think?

Oh wow, you got some of my thoughts right on point there. Yeah, that sounds like the best solution.
I'd be so greatful if you'd help me out in categorising all these ideas. Feel free to edit the frontpage as it needs to be done. If you think there is some discussions for improving these I'd be up for a talk anytime.

Maybe you could like a range for the PivotPoints I'd give out. So there is like a max amount of points you can reach. ^^

easy 1-5,
medium 5-15,
hard 15-35,
insane 35+
or something.

and don't worry guys, just because some of you may seem in a lower level of animation skills I still will consider your effort and time you put into it :)

thats a very good idea man, with the points brackets thing :) do you want me to categorise the tasks then?

also yeah beginners dw, quality =/= effort.

edit: ok so i just spent the last 45 mins or so changing everything. check the OP to find out how the new system works, and look at the task list if you wanna find out what each task is now worth. i've adjusted the points everyone earned (although nobody actually switched places). hope this new system is fairer :)

so a question
"Remarkable Patience
Make a 1000-frames long animation about anything you like (points will be awarded only if it lives up to your current standards)
100 PP"
about this
can I present a project that I am currently working and just like submit it?
or does it have to be a new one?
because Im really curious about this one
