Too much time to approve a post? vagueness?

Postby Aymunz » Sun Jul 15, 2018 8:04 am

Ok .First off, I understand that mods here have a very busy life, and Iappreciate their hard work to make this forum the best it can be (and it IS).But, Come on! +7 days to approve a single post?
Secondly, How do I know if my posts are even considered? Just after I get that 'submitted but wait for approval' message there is no trace to my post. Not in drafts, not in outbox, nowhere!
Maybe my posts are wrong? Maybe I post too much? But how can I tell?
Sorry for the rant. And I hope for a response (if this'll even get posted at all).

The reason it takes some time to approve posts is mostly because TDD itself isn't as active as it once was and the Discord channel is much more active. If you post one more time, you'll never have to get approved afterwards as the post approval system is only for the first 5 messages.

I must admit, it kinda troubles me too.
Bump for an actual question.
While this is an understandable method of protection against spammers, personally I don't want to shitpost 4 messages just to post and comment without limits.
There's a also a problem that when you edit a newly approved thread, thread disappears to be approved again.
Maybe at least the last one needs a solution?

there's not much point posting on the forum since the VAST majority of people has already moved to a discord server.
i'd recommend you do the same
