Ranking Requirements (Suggestion)

Postby Drakus » Tue Sep 12, 2017 6:37 am

Hey guys, I was thinking about this ever since I joined in this community. 'What do I specifically need to do to move up a rank'

This is just a suggestion but maybe you guys can pin a thread on the community where every animator here (mostly beginners) can refer back to again and again to see what they must accomplish to move up in rank (I actually was used to already having this in my other community based on dinosaurs).

Because sometimes I feel too shy or perhaps embarrassed to ask someone of rank team if my animations are or even near intermediate level, so why not have a thread where I could just looking back on to see if I have met the requirements/skill level to make intermediate and ask with confidence. (cheesygrin

By requirements we usually did like certain aspects need to be clearly visible in our animations constantly.
For us we focused on easing of certain limbs, entire body flow, onion skin trailing etc. But it's honestly up to you guys.
But this would really help with working up to move up ranks. (smile

just my thought but i think:
-Beginner: make a thread in beginner hall
-Intermediate: fully understand the basics
-Veteran: have your own "style"
-Elite: i don't know.... make something great i guess

Hahaha I mean more specific though dude like rather more on how you have to apply a certain amount of flow easing etc.
