The Burning Bush

Postby Jaman » Sun Aug 20, 2017 7:07 pm

Moses comes upon a Bush caught in flames, but not consumed by it. Suddenly, a soft whisper disguised in a rushing wind reaches his ears "Moses, Moses" He turns to see the Fire manipulated by an unknown force in the shape of the voice as it echoes these words "I am that I am" It was God himself.

Pretty cool stuff indeed. One thing I'd add is a particle system of sorts to go with the flames. Look at any timage of fire in action and you'lll notice some particles randomly flying upwards. The other think is the BG. Perhaps you will have a better time just painting them or using photoshop's lasso tool to make something clearer. I can tell you were just playing around with the painting software to get most of the results in the vid. It's not a bad thing, just needs to be executed better. Reference images work all the time to make things look better. Lip syncing was a cool touch, but I could not hear any voice to be synced with, no did I read any text below. Either of the would might've made things make more sense. Overall a great animation. Just keep at it and you'll improve as you go.
