It's this one right?

I found this about 2 years ago, loved it as soon as I saw it and saved it,only thing is that I could never remember who made it. This is absolutely awesome Zaaz, I love the way Bulbasaur's vines come out, it makes me happy to have inspired you. If you still have the piv. file I would really appreciate if you could share it with me, I could possibly even continue it. (wink

Gotten a little farther since then, but never got around to finishing it. I'll send you the piv. file in a pm. Always been an inspiring animator and your entry to the ddcx was my favourite. :)

Nothing wrong with smooth, but you kinda want a gunshot to have impact, so I'd ease it less.

What you could do to make it better is move his legs and torso to make the recoil more pronounced

That animation looks really smooth and I dig everything that is smooth... everything !
You could move his back and head to show some recoil as Zaaz said and maybe you could make him looks less stiff by moving more joints in each frame, not like just to move them but to actually make the animation look better by adding more movements and making it more realistic.

That animation looks great, really dig the legs' movements. I feel like the leg should be stretched and not bent when he kicks tho. The trails were a nice touch.

I've got a question: Does animating using key-frames actually work/is viable in pivot 4? I remember trying it in pivot 2.2.5/3 and it was a hassle
