The punches looked a little spinny (but still good) and that first kick was very nicely done!
Keep it up, that was quality!

The combination of the second slash and the spin effect is too abrupt. I think you should have made him wait a little more before using the spinning effect.

+ : Nice poses
- : The sword goes through the ground

The spacing isn't consistent , In the first slash the he looked like he was stomping .
I'm not quite sure what sword fighting style was intended I think its some sort of fencing style (god I hope I used the right word).
But what I'm most sure of is that you have to at least move him in to the appropriate stances .

I liked it a lot though . the spinning thing was pretty neat ....

Nice job ! :)

I hate the whole spacing concept xD can't quite get it... The stomp was just some emphasis an there's no based style it was just a random practice

I fixed it a little bit and thankyou for the lovely comment!

The spinning was neat, however, I feel like there wasn't enough momentum to make it spin THAT much xD

Really nice up until that last flip. He needed more height overall, but the poses were pretty good. It reminded me a lot of Wraybies.

His head seems a little jittery when his hands make contact with the ground during the first round off. His head also jumps from left to right too fast during that last flip (probably because he didn't have enough height to spin around at a consistent speed.) Remember that nobody can just speed up or slow down after they are already mid-air.

Other than those few flaws it looked great! I like how it's a fullbody stick too. Keep up the good work!

Thankyou! I will definitely try to fix those up, I thought the head looked off but was unsure. The last flip I tried making higher an spinning less an couldn't find a sweet spot but I will still try :)

I quite liked that. The height is an issue on that last flip like Ray said. Also, It wouldnt be as much as a problem if he didnt stay at relatively the same height the whole time. Try to make it a more gradual increase like a saturation graph. (Which just means ease the height so he starts off going up faster, and then slows down) and then doing the opposite of that when he lands, start slow going down and then faster. Another thing that looked a little weird was the free arm on that back-handspring, looked a little shakey.

Raymond wrote: Remember that nobody can just speed up or slow down after they are already mid-air.

While this is normally true, some of this does depend on body position. Since the body position doesnt do anything to cause more rotation the rotation shouldnt go faster. So in this case that is correct. However, when you do a back flip in the tucked position going from a long body and extending upwards on the block, to the short body (tucked) that causes rotation. Going from a long body to short body it the only way to go faster and the opposite is true for going slower. This is because there isnt any external force being applied to the figure, so in order to spin yourself you have to create an internal torque by distorting your body position. For flipping you move your arms and legs to create the torque and for spinning, you usually only use your arms, however you can use your legs. You can also use your head for rotation, but using it for anything other than a whip is bad form.

(an example of using your legs to help spin)
