Animation's "mm yeah

Postby Thornsberry » Wed Sep 24, 2014 6:08 pm

Hello, this is my animations thread
My username is my actual last name, and I think it's smashing
I'm starting to animate again and here are my animations thus far.
I will keep posting my animations, and hopefully reach the level I once was, but until then I'll keep practicing.

Bent her over the grand piano..
Feel my eyes slide over you.
Legs that curve the same as hers,
could run as quickly too.

I just got finished doing this, and I use to understand movement and easing, it's just difficult now.

You seem to be improving already.
Easing is fine, movements seem pretty visible, could be better, and I dont see any shakiness.
Only thing i really say is make sure not to over ease.
Try to make all your joints move in a curved line, instead of easing into one position, just make it move in an arc like pattern.
It means turning this:

Into this:

You can see the first would be harder to add in moves after that, while the second, all the joints curve and you could easily keep going.

With that, I wish you best of luck with animating, and i can't wait to see more.

Animation update;

Also I'm trying to listen to the criticism, I would like some more, I "think" I'm improving every animation. I need to work on my easing, but idk I would love input.

Before the last kick, his balance is off. Maybe you could have added some objects that explain why his momentum shifts.

Made something in a few minutes I just really wanted to see if I could do a energy beam, even when I use to animate I never really could :/

It's pretty shaky because I really didn't take too much time on it.
