Theropod's Thread

Postby Theropod » Sat Sep 27, 2014 2:21 pm

Hello, and welcome to my thread. I rarely animate stickmen, and I'm used to a different style (which doesn't look that good with stickmen). But anyway, here's my stuff. Feel free to let me know what you think.

Quick test I made for this thread (September 27th, 2014);

Another quick animation (September 27th, 2014);

Something I did for a fighting tournament, I was aiming for for consistency more than quality (July 18th, 2014);

Something for the same tournament (July 11th, 2014);

You seem to like dinosaurs. You're anims are smooth and you seem to have a good idea of the basics just keep practicing.

I dinos too, just never animate them though :)
your consistency is good, I tend to lose quality halfway through the animation.
Keep it up.

The oldest one is actually the most radical, even though there was very little feel of collision between the dinosaurs, the blood looked pretty cool and the dinosaur screaming looked pretty legit.

Thanks everyone! Haha yes, I do like them.

The oldest one definitely needed more of a feel of collision between the two, I think that's the price I pay for animating something in about 30 minutes. Thanks again :)

loving the dinosaurs thing!
but just on that quick test you've made.. you could add the law of gravity to that if you know what i mean, he just pushed his feet and flew away as if he had rockets on his feet.
still a pretty good job though :)
i sure as hell don't know what i'm doing half the time.
