This is the way towards progress. This is what I found in terms of flaws :

-Choppiness in the arms
-Balance issues.
-The legs snap in the first punch, they shouldn't. Keep them smooth except when you're making a kick.

-Also, the angle of the build-up on the last punch is pretty small, bluestick has not enough room to charge a really powerful punch, but he does, by looking at redstick's reaction.

And i personally suggest a slighty slower timing, like 1 or 2 more frame in between punches.

Thanks man

Yeah, I'll take that into consideration when I make my next tests, thanks

Ah, thanks. I put in some thought on how I'd do it so I'm glad it looked nice.

There was a bit of shakiness in the arms and lower part of the leg that kicks during the kick. Besides that i really liked it, nice job!

Yeah I just noticed that, and fixed it. Also added an alternate version without the pause. Also changed a few things in the standing leg during the kick.

Re: Madness's Projects - Now with Poll?

For the wings test:
- There is a bit of choppiness as he gets up from his crouch.
- I'd make him rise faster as his wings beat downwards, and fall a bit as his wings rise back up.
- There is a moment of large shakiness as he flies away.
- You should probably make him ease into flying away more.
- There is a lot of stiffness- you should probably make him sway more while he is in the air.

Alright, will def work on actually easing the character next time. I just didn't know what to do with him as his wings were beating so sometimes I didn't do anything and sometimes I did, causing a lot of shakiness. :/

I also saw that you did a ball bouncing test. This is great, because it means that you are interested in practicing fundamental aspects of animation, but I think that it needs some work. Here is how I generally do gravity and bounces:
First, the ball begins to fall 2 pixels downward. Then I double that value, and the ball falls 4 pixels. Again (8 pixels) and again (16 pixels), I let it fall until it hits the ground. This is where you need to decide what material the ball is made of. If it is very bouncy, then let it bounce up at 1/2 the "velocity" that it reached the ground at (for the velocity, round to the nearest number that fits into the pattern). If it has a medium elasticity, then let it bounce up at 1/4 the "velocity" that it hit the floor at. It is only a little bouncy, then let it bounce up at only 1/8 the velocity. If it is a bowling ball or something similar, then only let it bounce 1 pixel after hitting the floor. After the object bounces back up, divide the length it moved up by 1/2 in every frame until it reaches 2 pixels. After this, move it back down 2 pixels and repeat the cycle until it reaches the point where it only bounces up one frame. Try to keep its movement on the X axis consistent throughout the bounces until it stops bouncing, in which you should ease it to a halt.
Here are some examples of what I mean: http://sta.sh/2vxvd9e3six?edit=1
Of course, this will not work in every context, but it is a nice general way to get yourself started on ball physics. Such Nerd. Much Wedgies.
