Yup, this is where everyone starts, and from what i can see, you're doing good.
Red vs Blue has some mistakes (shaky & stiffy), but the other one has great fluidity.

Were you on some other forums before starting ?

Yeah, I've been on a few forums. I'm on a few now like the other Animator.net, Shuniu.us, Artangle, PivotAnimator.com, and Hyun's Dojo. I haven't posted on Hyun's dojo yet though. I'm saving that for my flash animations. But I've also seen the old Dark Demon before it went down. I had a different name though.

One thing unfinished-ly new and the other slightly edited, although kind of late to pop this here~ ^-^;

The top animation needs to flow more, the spacing is off. I don't like the effect in the combo animation, it kind of hides the final movement and then leads into a lazy slide to move into the final pose. I think if you took out the effect and tried to animate that last pose it would look better, though you would need to think of a different way of showing power for it.
