Nice backgrouund, it's cool. The back leg is kinda sweeping back and forth, when it should be planted most of the time, i think. The last punch should have a little more power behind it, but it looks like another jab :P
ShadowLith: 450 frames
Katana guy vs big sword dude: 84 frames
pyro vs setto: i think its like 890 frames or something idfk

Hey Xeroz, how's it going buddy?

I like your ideas a lot and your animations give me a really nostalgic feeling.
The way you use all these effects and animate these movements, I started the same way haha.

Anyways, time to cc, aye?

You seem to improve lately and working hard on yourself. You try to keep your movements clean from shakyness and try to entertain with the effects you used. That's cool!
I wish you best of luck and a lot of fun on that joint with your buddies. man I am drifting away again hehe...

I am gonna cc your recent best animation which is this one in my opinion:

Spoiler:
Image

the flaws I found:
- First of all it's that run in the beginning of Mr.Grey, it feels really off and shaky.
- My second thought is when Mr. Black is about to slow down the time with that effect. His arms feel a bit weird when he is going in the fighting stance and is about to give him that Kick-Punch-combo.
- The last thing I'd say which could've been done better is like the speed of Mr. Grey flying out of the image. It is really slow.

How to fix that:

1. The Run of Mr. Grey: If you want to have the run beeing less floppy, you should orient yourself on the head. If the head is moving with the same distance while running and doesn't move too much up and down it will look really fluid.

2. The Slowmo of Mr. Black: You should've animated that step by step.
- Make him do a step backwards, let him go in fighting stance
- then go for the kick, try to remain the balance and position the leg right below Mr. Black's body.
- then let him charge up his arm and Punch Mr. Grey with all his power!

3. Mr. Grey's dissapearing: the frame he is getting hit by that punch you could add some kind of speed effect. After that you just need exactly 1 more frame to show off that he flies out of the image. You'll see how much force it will add :P

Well, yeah I am sorry for writing so much. But I hope you can make use of that CC and it helps you.
Best of luck in improving!

Ayy, it's Chris!

First of all, thanks for your time to write to this lil' n00b. :3
Also, really? Is my 'style' (?) really that similar to yours from back then? (cheesygrin Heh, nice to know.

Thanks for the time you put in this CnC. Quite a big one I'd say... It helped though. :3
Well, let's say that the run that Mr. Gray did was completely weird even for me, but I wanted to try and make something different. So, probes and errors I suppose? (cheesygrin

Also, thanks for the tips! These helped me a big time!

So, like, I'll see ya at the next update!
Thanks for the update!
I'll improve for sure, you can count on that!

Lastly,
Stay awesome!

Anyways, thank you man! Keep it up with your anims!

Nice animation man. The sword trail effects were beautiful.

Getting onto the movements, the main issue seems to be shakiness. Try to be more consistent when it comes to spacing and easing. An example of a shaky animation would be this (where "|"= frame and "-"= spacing):

|--|-|-----|-----------|--|--------|---|-|---|

Smooth would be:

|-|--|----|------|---------|------|----|--|-|

In the first example, the spacing changes erratically from frame to frame. In the other one, it's more consistent over a series of frames. A thing I find that helps is to use the "<" and ">" keys on the keyboard to scroll through the frames. :)
