You know, personally speaking, I think that moving the ground up and down in relation to running should've added quite a bit to the dynamism. And the slip after catching the edge at the last part of the animation seems to happen a bit suddenly. That added to the the lack of foreshortening. I've mentioned how I love your style and I feel like I should say it again. Not sure if I'm the only one who thinks this, and anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your style is the closest to Xman's if anyone remembers him.

thanks for the feedback man. yeah i too felt like the end came a bit fast. It could have really used like 8 frames more on the moving hold to increase the suspense. But adding in frames made it all jittery which looked worse than before.

Well I've pretty much been working on university projects all week and this weekend I'll start my entry for the 11Second club competition. So not sure if I'd find the time for pivot although I'd really like to.

Geez last few weeks have been stressful but I felt like 2d animation doodling yesterday
A quick combo. I seperated the head for more flexibility and easier depiction of movement through space

geeez it's been a while again.
yeh well another short. I made the head seperated from the body so I can break the rigidity that pivot stks usually have. Being able to move the head around freely really helps. Also I made it larger so i can hide stuff behind it that I don't want to be seen. usually the spine

It was very good, bro, the whole movement looks decently animated, just that the arms get really stiff from time to time while he jumps, and his torso gets stiff at the end too, along with some shakiness in his legs, no big deal though, it's something you can fix easily :D

And about that little effect when he gets into the ground and out of it, well, I don't know, it's just some balls, you could've taken more time on it like adding some lines around it to make it look stile curve but not that much; well, it's just effects, no big deal either. Keep going, bro :D

thanks man,
about the effect: yeh I know. I added it in after I animated him because I felt like something was missing. It really helped but in the end it was a half assed solution

And once again I crawl out out of my cave of inactivity. Hmm I am honestly thinking of rewriting pivot as an open source program. I really want to improve the usability. Lets see if I find the time to put my mediocre coding skills to use sometime

not really perfect loop. you can see a bit jitter :(

There's something about the way the head bobs that has me mesmerized. And I like how her shadow gets darker as she gets closer to the ground. The subtle 3D angle of the swing set was a nice touch too. This is actually a pretty unique animation. I don't think I've seen that many animations like this before. +1 for creativity man.

That little girl is very passionate, enthusiastic and intense about her swinging skills. Good job.
