This is my thread were I show off all the shorts that I made. starting off at 12fps I switched to 24 fps for better readability on fast moves
aaand back to 12 fps for efficiency

You've kinda got that fluidity that many people lack including veterans.

lovely exaggerated poses and such, gives it a very lifelike quality. we dont see enough of that here :)

thanks for the replies. :)

something else. Note that this is Stykz. Wanted to try that software and it has some cool features but I think it misses some core elements (onion skin of frames to come?) and the ui is pretty messy
Also the gif export was buggy as hell. had to export pngs and put them together in premiere...

Edit: Also did another short today. geez someone implement IK already xD. Foot placement is sooo tedious.
I did this to show weight which kind of worked. But there is a problem with the motion when he picks up the hammer. Also the arcs of the head suck :(

quick animation for today: martial arts. 45 mins
wasn't sure were I was going with this but all of a sudden I had this nice spin kick in. Reads surprisingly well...
pretty happy overall

failed animation. tried creating a character with emotions. Would probably work but i worked pose to pose which didn't really work well with pivot. also moving hold are damn hard and tedious.
next i'll try 24 fps with animating with double frames when needed

oh and is the source code of pivot available somewhere? I'd like to try and add functionality like ik, copying frames etc.

there is already a copy frames button, besides i dont think peter bone made his code open source/editable etc.
that animation is cool, i like the emotions and the idea :) i think you need to make the spacing a little less heavy, its really difficult to tell whats happening

yeah well it's actually not finished. The end is missing a lot of inbetween and easing frames...

hmmm but as far as i know you can't paste the frames wherever you want. Hmm would be really nice if he released it somewhere because Pivot just needs some small tools and ui improvements that would make animating so much more fun

edit: also did a small walk to run test at 24 fps today
strangely when exporting setting the fps to 20 seems to create the better result. 24fps export is way faster than in pivot...

when the stickfigure collapses with the building,it doesn't show the strenght and momentum of the impact, thats my point of view, the rest is fun to me
