Sup big bro?
Well, I know that I am the reason you updated.
You really came a way until now. Sure it's not like you reached a new rank or something but you definetely start developing your style now.
You've been practising a lot recently and I can tell you that you've made a big step forward regarding what you did couple month ago.
You were eager to learn and I am happy that you joined PivotPoints and the recent PivotPractise.
I'll give you the cc based on your joint with crafty. Here we go!your parts, unus:
Part.1The walking in the beginning wasn't that bad. It showed off still some shakyness which is like the main problem which is following you.
As I've explained often by now, shakyness is caused by an uncertain spacing. Means it randomly changes direction in a frame distance of 1-2.
Your walkcycle there could've been smoother and look better if you'd taken more frames and tried to keep the upperbody more straight.
Also the amount of distance of your steps could be a little bit less, but it ain't such a big deal.
Well I created a 7 frame basic walking cycle for you. I hope it helps you:
.piv: http://sta.sh/01bvaoqfdjzyAlso he is already having his head held down really low, but it would add more character if you would do that walkcycle first and as soon he reaches the edge of the building he could start looking down. So it looks like he is reacting to his surroundings.
It would've been cool if his tie would like show some kind of dynamics. Like the wind is blowing it to the side.
Part.2this part was actually really short. It's like just a turn. there is not much to cc about.
Part.3The stickfigure slowed down really quickly there, it's like he randomly had some superglue which kept him on the building.
You could've like let him still slide down on that building and trying to get the transition more fluid into that jump.
Well I made also an example for you. First I animated the actual movement. Then I edited the speedlines to show of that he is going down.
.piv: http://sta.sh/0h0ou96h3x3Anyways. That's all for now.
I'll shorten my cc for you one more time: I suggest you animate every movement step by step. an example would be:
1. Walkcycle.
2. Reaction.
3. Next movement.
I hope my CC helped you and you will keep improving in the future.
Best regards, Chris.
P.S.: You're my favorite beginner due to the fact I am always having these nice talks with you. Thanks for that ^^.
