Upload some animations to go with it so it's a real thread!

Nice to see you've put an animation on your thread now. When you update in the future, make sure to make a new post saying something like "update" so that your topic/thread gets bumped to the top of the animation section. That way people will be more likely to visit your thread.

As for the animation, it's cool that you attempted some sense of constant motion. I also liked how you arced the motion path of the origin (orange node on the stick-figure) back around for that continuing sense of motion. The animation was shaky though. What causes this is an inconsistent amount of spacing (movement from one frame to the next) in the frames.

E.g.:

Smooth
|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|

Shaky
|------|--|------|--|------|--|------|--|

"|" these signify the frame.

"-" these signify the amount of spacing.

If you aim for more consistent motion in your animation they'll look much smoother. I hope this advice helps.

im just gonna talk about the punching animation
Although it's a little short, the movement that is there is okay. The footplacement is solid in the punching one and although your movement is a little shaky, the power in the punches is definitely there, in a way. If you work on making your spacing a little more consistent you're well on your way.
I definitely see the potential. Good luck!

I don't see any power in those punches.

Also, the punching thing is very unbalanced, he wouldn't be able to life his leg up like that without falling over. As cheese said it is very shaky and stuff. I don't much care for those poses either, the back should arch more when he punches to show more power. Also work on spacing and flow.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=665 - that should help you immensely

If you had to work on kicks, wouldnt it have made more sense to use a torso and two legs instead of a head and two legs?
