Your latest two are very smooth and pleasing to the eye. The head could have used moving in both of them however and so could the lower part of the back arm in the run cycle. In the walk the arms could have swung a bit further away from the body and in the walk the leg could step a bit further forward. Other than that very nice. You can see the effort you put into them.

The run was really smooth and imo, pretty nice. easy to look at :P
The walk felt a little too stiff and i think it could've been a little better
ShadowLith: 450 frames
Katana guy vs big sword dude: 84 frames

Very nice! now why don't you try to make a lot of runs until you notice you put less effort into them and the quality is the same or even better, also while you do that try to do faster run cycles, smoother run cycles, runs with different poses, variety and you will see a good improvement!

There's a definite improvement with these two animations. The run cycle looked amazing since it's smooth and flows very well. The walk cycle was good, but the arms could have bent some more instead of staying straight. When the upper arm starts swinging backwards, you could bend the forearm then to give it more flow and it would feel less stiff.

I think another thing was that you could have linked the first and last frames better. It sort of has that pop-in look right now. One way I do this is by copying the figure from the last frame and pasting it into the first. I animate this new figure for the first couple of frames at the start and try to get it to match up at some point. It's easier to do this and make the spacing look right, even if it takes more time.

Anyway, good animations overall. It's obvious you put in the effort and it paid off in my opinion. :)

Some of the back movements are really weird, like he's putting his chest out and pulling his head back while doing a forward punch. I think you're focusing to much on the back being eased, and not focusing enough on the movement you're trying to show. The purple one's legs are shaky, and should have been eased better. The head in the purple one is also pretty shaky. Just try not to get into any weird poses with the back, and pay a bit more attention to the flow of the animation. It'd be interesting to see some of these combos in an actual fight animation

It's good to see you getting back into the swing of things. The animation is interesting so far and has a nice angle at the end there.

There is some shakiness though. If you improve on your smoothness your animations can look so much better. This video (at the 1:33 point) describes what shakiness is and how to create smooth animation. Credit to Alan Becker.
