A forgotten animator returns...

Postby Jir0ジロウ » Fri Aug 19, 2016 9:58 am

I'm not really that well-known, but for some people who are familiar with the name "ILikeYourSTICK/ILYS", that's me. (good god i can't believe i didn't see the sexual innuendo up until now)

I haven't touched Pivot in like... a year now. Though, I heard that it's still being updated and some Pivot animators that I used to know are still alive. So I decided to use Pivot again, and boy, oh boy am I rusty as fuck. This is all I have for now, going to update this thread with some new stuff whenever I can.

I'd really recommend viewing the .PIV instead because the .GIF is so fast

Definitely!
Thanks, man. And oh, I'm not really aiming for Nhazul-styled poses. I'm trying something similar to some poses from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, but I'm glad to see your input.

hey I kinda remember you from Shuniu. I think rust#2 is far better than rust#1 so that's good, not much I can think to critique about it.

"ILikeYourSTICK/ILYS", that's me. (good god i can't believe i didn't see the sexual innuendo up until now)

also lol

These animations are very nice! Unrust #2 is excellent, since it shows plenty of power in it, strong poses and I liked the ending where there was that slight movement of him looking up after the slash.

Unrust #1 is also quite good. There's plenty of power in that and I really like your spacing style. The only thing that looks a bit off is the ending pose the kicker went into. Centre of balance seemed off, like leaning back that much seemed awkward.

Great stuff anyway. :)

It's very smooth and I like seeing it you did a good job, the rust will eventually go away, good luck!
