Fleance Thread- Rankme :^)

Yes my name comes from the Shakespearean play "Macbeth"
you could even go as far as saying I'm the son of Banquo :)
now lets get down to business.
I only have two animations right now, one is my DDC13 entry so I don't wanna show and the other one is really short; first since '09
I will post more in the future as I collect stks and what not.

These animations really impressed me Fleance. I like your reaction animation and your DDC13 looks incredible so far.

With the reaction, it looks good with nice spacing, some flow and the poses seemed good. However, when he takes the second step he slows a bit too suddenly. It sort of looks like this:

("|" = frame, "-" = spacing)
|----------------|----------------|---|---|---|

I exaggerated it, but can you see what I mean? The spacing changes, but with no easing down to the slower movement. You've got the right idea with keeping it flowing. Something like this could look nicer:

|---------------|-------------|------|----|---|---|---|

So you're still keeping the continuous movement at the end, but slowing down for that smaller movement. This is a small thing and I'm sorry it doesn't seem like that since I've written so much. It's just very difficult to explain.

Your DDC13 is amazing so far. Everything looks very nice with the spacing, background, angles and story (which is interesting). The broken face scene was done very well. I think it will be cool if you add more. :)

I understand exactly what you mean, I actually noticed that the leg was going to slow and it was kinda bugging so I understand what I need to do in the future now thanks a bunch :^)

You applied very well the CnC ! Great job on that, we can see better the reaction you wanted to show ^^

the not black stickman(sorry,idk what is that color) has no charge before the attack(or not enough to make the black guy fall) and his leg looks choppy when he slide on the ground
after being hit, the black guy leg just stand in the air for a moment (sorry, can't describe that)
i'm still a beginner and not very good at cnc so maybe i'm wrong :P (and my English is freaking bad)

yeah I actually had fixed those things but apparently there was a save error and now I cant even open the file so rip.

I'd leave him there, you know, looming over his defeated opponent, even if you didn't animate him in the following frames. The way it is now makes it look more like a study/test/sketch, when it could look a bit more finished.

And I agree with Ducker, about the punch and the shakyness on the green dude.

On the other hand the black guy is really well animated. Not just the reaction, but the kick aswell (thumbsup
His kick key-frame looks a bit odd to me tho, with the kicking foot turned like that. I think its because both arms are in the same position... doesn't look like he'd have his hips towards the camera.... but that's just a small detail. It's still a nice, strong kick!

Thanks, I did actually fix all these problems but there is a save glitch and I can't open the file so I can't upload and should you guys.. :L
