Raymond wrote:Your DBZ animations are very detailed, I like the full bodies (I'm not sure if you made them), but you have a lot of potential. If you iron out some of the shaky parts [really there aren't that many in your recent animations] you could easily reach vets.

I made them. :) it's actually here viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4556

Oh man. I love your stuff.

The dancing one is my favorite.
You put great effort in most of your animations and as raymond already said, that is what shows off your potential.

In my opinion you're intermediate.

Keep animating bro. :)

phpBB [video]

So I'm a little disappointed. Mat pointed out that your dance animation looks rotoscoped and it wasn't hard to find this video, which is identical to it. I've done this in the past and kept it hidden from people, so I'm not going to bash you for it. You haven't necessarily lied about it yet, but you didn't mention it was rotoscoped. We don't frown upon rotoscoping because it's another form of learning, but we ask that you let us know if you do because it's easier to trace an animation then it is to create one completely on your own and it can affect the ranks here. It's also not really fair to others who climbed the ranks legitimately.

I understand, I already point this out to Chris and Jojishi when i showed them the animation..
I won't deny that it is from that animation, and i'm alright if you bash me about it. I just didn't thought about sharing it because i thought it was kinda out there.. so yeah i'll edit that in a moment. I May have left the wrong impression. sorry.

With the combo animation, the choreography is nice and some of the poses looked good.

What seems to be holding you back is that everything happens so fast that it feels like a flurry of punches and kicks. There's no moment for the guy to catch his breath. Also, everything is spaced big where small spacing might be more appropriate. Try to slow down some of your movements a lot and ease more. It might feel unnatural at first but I promise that you'll see a huge improvement by doing this. Tldr; space smaller and ease more.

The animation was Purely Rush, i wanted to see how it would turn out, if i do the same thing i used to do before, (usually with less anticipation).

Man I love this, even though it's short and it's not fullbody, I think it's the strongest anim you have in your thread when it comes to poses/timing/moves (basically the basics [heh])
It feels a bit shaky but a good kind of shaky, you know? Kinda adds some realism to the anim... I just really dig this style you've been developing with the basic stickfigures. Keep at it ^^

Also, great work on your fullbodies, the animation suffers a little bit in terms of flow and smoothness but it's still very detailed.
