gary, i don't see any form of hypocrisy in that statement. actually, i may see some of it, but other than that, yeah.i'm saying that i don't care about the format or argument, but i still want you to prove me wrong.

secondly, i constantly think negatively. i try to keep a positive way of thinking, but it doesn't last. my motivation comes for seconds, and then goes.

you can't really put anything against me for saying 'no cnc.'
i have given cnc, sometimes not proper, but still, it's cnc. i don't see a valid reason to make a point due to a compliment. i'm just saying his animations are good, nothing wrong with that.

and, the next thing. i read mitch's tutorial, but i have tons of trouble executing it. i have lots of piv files trying to replicate what he's talking about, but i always come to a fail.

also, i didn't really cry. was just an exaggeration, of some sort. i've been doing self-criticism but even if I do, either I get better and forget how i did it, or i end up making it worse than the original animation. i've been trying to fix that, and it's obviously, not working.

another exaggeration, every tutorial is literally wrong. most of the ones i've seen are broken, and even as I look at the text based ones, i don't understand. why? because i'm more of a visual learner than anything else. just because something describes it, doesn't mean i'll understand. if I were to understand it, it'd require extra clarification.

another thing, i'm a VERY slow learner. that might not apply to things like math and science, but animation-wise, i'm terribly slow.

for example, the big-ass tutorial.

the tutorial refers to the pictures of the forum. cool, right? not really, if the pictures are dead. remember, i'm a visual learner. that's mostly how i've gotten this "far" into stick animation.

i have taken into consideration of what people HAVE been talking about my animations, and i have strived to fix them.

here's another thing.

  • -Firecracker's Combat Tutorial -dead pics
  • -Caleb's Useful References
  • -Crono and Werez's Big Ass Tutorial -dead pics
  • -Wraybies' Acrobatic Tutorial - the point he's trying to get across is way above my head
  • -Anton's Stickmaking Tutorial - thanks
  • -Wraybies' Mini Line of Action Tutorial -same as the acrobatic tutorial
  • -Zucchini's Study of Animation Tutorial ^
  • -Krust's Bouncy Style Tutorial - not a high beginner. don't have a single clue what he's talking about.
  • -Caleb's Useful References - idunno like the rest, my pc is dying and shit's going downhill. anything else you need to say, hmu.
to be honest, i forgot the rank was even a thing.
i just wrote it to let my feelings n shit out, but then i forgot to delete it a few days ago. whoops, my b

If you want to be good, practice is what you will need.
Hold your frustration and stop blocking yourself.
If you do not understand the tutorials you need to experiment and figure it out yourself. DarkDemon is not the only source where you could find tutorials.

There comes a point where you dont really need to know how to use pivot because you legit already do, just learn how to animate

I'm sorry haha but it's best so you can learn and be better. Learn proper spacing.
