You seem to have most of the basics down. However, you ease a bit too much between linked movements, and that messes up the fluidity of the animation. Some of your poses could use a little work as well; some of them look off-balance, and others don't follow a good "line of action", as Wraybies would put it.

In essence, what that means is that your poses don't really reflect your character's movement and how its weight is being distributed. When a character is throwing all of its weight into a punch, for example, its line of action would be leaning in the direction of the punch because that's where the character is moving, it's where the weight is, and it's where the force is. If you want a more in-depth explanation, read Wraybies' tutorial. I would definitely recommend it.

If you cleaned up some of those minor issues, I'd go as far as saying you'd be pretty damn close to Intermediate. Keep up the good work! (grin

Hey, what do you mean by easing between linked movements?
I think I just noticed a pattern when my characters repeatedly go into poses where they should lose there balance instantly, I'll try to work on that :)
I also looked up Line Of Action, so I think I know what you mean there.
Thanks for the criticism

I invented a way to work on my balance, thanks

I mean your character is slowing down too much when moving from one movement to the next, and it breaks up the flow of your animation.
For example, say you wanted to make a character land from off-screen and then jump.

With this, the animation slows down too much. The pace would be inconsistent and it would look, as some say, "stop-and-go".

With this animation, the pacing is consistent and any moves chained afterwards would look a lot better.

Anyway, your new stuff looks really good!

Haha, yeah just ignore that, it was just something I made for freestyle.
Just CC everything else.

I might try to animate less random stuff. It basically shows that u have troubles to concentrate on a specific motion. In that case I might look up some references to get a decent idea about the motion.

References can be anything which inspires you, just try to replicate the thing you saw as good as possible.

Also don't underistimate the power of fundamentals, learn the basics properly and keep repeating them from time to time.

Keep animating dude.

Just get the basics down and try to copy things from real life, got it :)

you seem to not have gotten it.
By 'copying things which inspire you', I didn't really just mean things from reallife. Animation doesn't have to be realistic at all.
If you think that you just can improve by studying the things happening in reallife you will limit yourself.
By anything, I mean literally ANYTHING.

Use your brain, develope your own ideas and stories and then work on them to make them come true. Animation is a form of selfexpression!
That means literally you describe yourself with the things you animate, it's way deeper and complicated then people think it is.
Even if you just animate sticks, you can still archieve greatness.

Whoa dude, that's deep...
Okay, I'll try to work on it :)

Random fight looks really good! You nailed the 3d falling effect. The fighting looks great as well. Keep going at it man, you have good potential :D
