Don't spam. If you've got nothing constructive to say, just don't say it.

I like the full-bodies you're animating Sekrit. Lots of people don't animate with full-bodies but they can add so much to an animation. -luka gave you some great tutorials. All I can say is study them and you should definitely see an improvement.

Thanks for the compliment, and trust me, I'll use those tutorials, Reap's alone looked impressive. And my fullbody now is just the beginning, as I get more into stuff like movement wind, I'll add sleeves, detailed hands, gloves etc.

I like the fullbody part of your animations. They are unique too.

That's not helpful telling "try to ease next time". Tell him how to do it and/or link him to a tutorial if you wan't explain it yourself.
Nice anim btw..

Maybe you should practice what you preach. I've never seen you be so helpful as to do that.

Gonna have to agree with Mat on this one - Jon.

Most positive outlook yet! The spinkick was very weird with the stretch tools, mainly making it smooth yet powerful, so in case any noobies come along this thread, what I did was animate it slowly, then cut out the parts that would make it look bad.
EDIT!my Windows 8 ASUS laptop has gone into an "auto-repair" lock, and in the process of resetting it, I have lost all my .stks/.pivs. Sadly, this is the end of crypticGlow and his arsenal. When my laptop finishes resetting (it's a full reset. it'll take quite a while.) an all new base will be made, along with the Katana I'd imagine.

That sucks. :( All I can really say to you is to remember to keep copies of your files on a USB or file hosting site.

The full-body animation looks nice, especially the kick at the end with the trail. I agree that things need to be eased in places. Easing is basically the slowing down and speeding up of movements so that they don't stop suddenly. You know how a car has to gradually pick up speed, right? It doesn't just start going 100 kph out of nowhere. Try to apply that principle to your animations and I guarantee you'll see an improvement.

Soz, I have to get a Windows 8.1 install disc, but my laptop came w/ Win8.1 -cries-. So I need to contact ASUS, hopefully get a free/cheap disc, repair that mothasucka and get working. I have this older desktop with Win7, plus a WD My Passport (got the 500GB one cause I'm cheap). On the bright side, I can use this to animate, just until I get my laptop running (this Desktop really sucks, the only thing it has that is superior to my laptop is 2.8GHz 500GB HD vs 1.5GHz 425GB HD, plus it's chock-filled with adware, that's what happens when you let siblings use it, enjoy frequent popups, MySearchDial toolbars and Tuvaro homepages). Hopefully my new fullbody can still be good with extra joints (shoulders, fingers etc.)

I hope this isn't considered a necromance, but production of my new base, Athen, has begun, I drew a little something-something as a base base to work on (I decided not to do the sword rack, I just really wanted to draw one) Be warned, this is a large image + Short Legs Syndrome, never noticed it and erasing it now is gonna smudge it bad.

After $5 in pencil lead, $0 in found mechanical pencils (:P, and LOTS of test designs, I came up with this (large) bad boy.

I am aware I messed up on the left (his right) hand, wasn't bothering with that.

Looks like something out of FEAR, jesus.

Won't be animating until I make a base for this dude.
(Also went to snazzy pimpurple.)

AND I got my laptop back after like 3 callbacks, and 1 pushthrough of laziness :)
