Llama Thread - Coming Back to Pivot

Postby LlamaMan » Sun Jun 24, 2018 5:26 pm

Used to frequent DD on another account I can't recover or is gone. I used to make Pivot animations in 2008-2009. Here they are. Starting from earlier to later. I need to improve fluidity in walking especially; I'm only embedding the better ones in my opinion.

Some of the better ones imo:

Annnd probably the best animation I did:

Please understand that Pivot 2 did NOT have many of the features I'm noticing in Pivot 4 and was incredibly difficult to use. I made huge attempts at the time to work with time and large textures but the limitations of the software were there. Still, I was a beginner then.

I've downloaded Pivot 4 in an attempt to come back, first animation will be up soon. Wish me luck.

Just the thing we need, another llama!
Pivot 4 might be a little tricky for old animators from pivot 2 because of the interface, but you will absolutely love it once you figure them out. Also, try to hold ctrl/alt while moving the joints, its fun.
