Not too bad, man. The main problems here are the stick's legs when it steps forward, it stops a little too suddenly when it steeles itself for the punch and the smoke is just wrong.
For when the stick steps forward, you could try having it turn its rear leg around, so the foot is pointing the other way. It would look better balanced then. Stopping too suddenly when preparing the punch isn't that much of a problem, it rather fits the style you were aiming for, but to help it flow a little more you probably could have moved everything by like one pixel in the direction of the fast movement so it looks a little more human.
Now the smoke. I would recommend sizing down the smoke effect you used by a lot, and using numerous version of the same stick, that way you can have the smoke move in different directions (away from the stick's foot for this animation) rather than just making it bigger. Also remember that smoke and dust and other such things all slow down pretty damn quickly and then dissipate slowly.
Keep practising all this stuff though, man. Not being able to animate effects personally slowed me down a lot when I tried to make animations.
