Re: [Kuro] Goku vs Turles

Well it is really impressive. Your animations really caught my attention, which means that I don't like it, I love it. The movements are smooth, it's all so connected, and every concept is well applied. Also something that really gets me, are your effects, that even tho they are simple, they are still really good, it's not... How can I say... Exagerated. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck, and that you keep animating, and amaze me. Peace.

That was very fast. Medium intermediate, probably borderline vets if you slowed it down.

I feel like he's trying to purposely mess up whatever he's doing, but he somehow managed to make it look cool. I really like it though. I can't see much wrong with it. The only thing I can point out is how simple the animation looks, but I wouldn't consider that a flaw.

This is why I mentioned you could be veteran. Because you have the potential for it. This looks better than most of the stuff in my thread and I was veteran at one point. That's why I moved myself down, because people (like you) make me feel like I shouldn't be there, but if I can make it to veteran with my shitty animations, you can surely make it with what you've been showing us.

I don't even know if you're trying to get veteran, but I guess the best advice I can give you is to work on keeping the animation a secret. I mean it looks like you're making all these animations in a day. Try coming up with an idea, something unique that will make your animation stand out from others. If you come up with a good enough idea and spend a few days working on that idea without showing people your progress, I have no doubt you'll make something that would get you moved up. Your movements look good, now show us that you can put those movements into something bigger.

I really like the squash and stretch on the ball, gives the animation a sense of dynamism. The only thing I'll criticize you on is the effect at the end; it looks out-of-place, I think there are better ways to show a hard impact.
