Daaaamn. Im ultimately impressed. Ropes, ho damn. Rope added personality to how each person moved, making them distinct. You could probably make them both the same color and still tell who is who.
Body language in animation. If you can tell a story like so without any dialouge or sound, and actually in the animation, you can practically piece out what they are saying in the animation. You accomplished it especially with them having no facial expressions and them being stickmen.

You just went up a couple ranks in my head.

That was really creative. I liked the surfing part a lot. I've never seen anyone attempt it or do the water effects that well. The water particle effects when he was watering the tree at the start were awesome. I also liked how you showed the water evaporating into the air, which hasn't been done before.

The new project screenshot looks great. Lighting is nice. I'm looking forward to it.
