I'm not sure if people can pull of a movement like that because the momentum is inconsistent (I meant the spacing). The movement looks sort of beginner-ish because the pose looks odd (example; when he bend his leg attempting to do a back handspring he didn't really bend his leg and go really stiff which I don't like) there's also lack of buildup, it seems you only give him one touch to the ground and then jump, ignoring those aspect of anticipation may cause an odd animation or maybe a bad animation like I did. Use more solid pose and build up if you are making tricking animation, or maybe read Wraybies Tutorial. (cheesygrin

It looks veteran to me. It has almost perfect movements, the effects are top notch, especially on the ending. You even added a shadow, and changed the color of the stick figure when the fire lights up. I can't really pick out anything wrong with it. I think it moves a bit fast towards the middle of the animation, but the camera movements compensate for it. And it looks like it's about 200-250 frames long.

The movements in some of your previous animations do not look veteran worthy, which is probably why you're being held back, but the movements in this recent one look veteran to me. If you make more with movements similar to this you could reach veteran easy. Especially with effects like that.

Edit: It reminds me of Dark Souls with the way he puts the sword in the ground and disintegrates away.

Just watching that heat sword animation over and over. Those movements are hypnotizing... really inspirational, amazing stuff. I wish you luck in going up to veteran.
