Whoa, I've heard a load about you, and your animations are pretty damned good, considering you're de-rusting. Overall, I love it, and please keep going! (thumbsup

Damn that was cool. Something that stands out to me is the reaction you made to him firing the beam. Most people would take the easy way out and just make him stationary, but you actually showed the force from the beam push him back a little. I love stuff like that.

I remember your old style being very jittery. Maybe it's because you animated so fast back then. And I remember the arguments that would start concerning your "realistic style". I won't lie, I was never a fan of your style. I'm pretty sure I've told you that a long time ago, but I have to admit I did envy your ability to animate so fast. Idk what you've changed since then, but your newest animation looks much more fluid. Maybe you just spent more time on it.

Anyways it's very refreshing to see you actively posting here. We didn't talk that much back then, but it's pretty hard to forget about the crono realism lol.

Right on, thanks for the comment. I liked how I animated the step back as well. I think it gave the beam more power.
I still animate quickly, but I think I just animate with less limitation on myself.

I added some simple tremors to add more power.

This animation is actually so bad ass I love it. The effects are actually quite good, everything you make still has that old school type style which is great.

Hey dude, just logged in and saw this. Looks better with the tremors, the animation is very very good. Very aesthetically pleasing effects and the movements were of high quality. I actually saw nothing wrong with the movements at all. It had the perfect amount of stiffness and you timed the spacing really well (For instance how he eased and slowed/paused into a crouched pose during the charge up of the beam, and then sped up during the launch of the beam to the wall. Not a lot of animators show timing like that so it's cool to see it being done)

Get your ass to the veteran hall you CHODE.

Pretty cool man! But the smoke is a bit shaky at the end, but still well done, its nice to see you trying new things :D, u could ease it a bit more and try make it fade away a bit slower.
