Re: laser attack
The laser attack anim is well made ! It really looks like a laser ddestroying a town ^^ You know with explosions and all. The effects are good but i think at the end you should have let a bit more the smoke because actually it's fading away to fast...

Re: laser attack
Really cool timing and although the effects are relatively simple they work very well. Good to see you make cool stuff.

Re: laser attack
Yeah more effect stuff, shudduap.
This was meant to practice for a bit my big animation that I plan to animate. Wanted to practice and get a feel for how I should animate stuff like this from this character stick.

Re: laser attack
That looks sick, man. I really like the colours you used, though the 'smoke' does, for some reason, feel a bit awkward. Though if the focus of the practice is on the laser then who cares, you can clean it up later.

Re: Darkbert Style
Your effects look like a rough copy of something that could be much better. Like it was made in flash with tweens, but it gets the point across and if it was done in pivot it's impressive. I like how much the effects bring into your animation though. They add so much to look at while watching the animation that I want to watch it multiple times and see each part of it individually. I won't hold you to that big project you're talking about, but it would be cool to see stuff like this in something longer.

Re: Darkbert Style
I dont want to be rude, but the smoke is from toast's run joint/vet joint parts, and the rest effects are mine. But i really like how u combined them both, the colours are nice, but look at the end of the animation, how the smoke is fading away, u are using the same sticks that toast made, and the biggest problem is that u dont know how to continue the sticks cuz they arent yours, that why its shaky and fadding too fast.Raymond wrote:Your effects look like a rough copy of something that could be much better.
Still, i like how u played with the colors, it not like im mad cuz u are using my particles, particles are just particles, it not about to have the same particles but about how you animete them, but the problem is the smoke as i said before, its just copy paste from toast's animations and that why it looks kinda chaotic and messy.
