Great animation man I really liked it. I know you put a lot of effort into it and it definitely paid off. The smoke effect is great I hope you remember my reaction when you first showed it to me. I was mind blown.
Also don't think that your animation didn't fit in to the collab, it definitely did.
The way Hyun linked in "do we have the bomb?" "WHAT BOMB!?" then cuts to your animation was genious and complimented your animation a lot and actually made it a bit more unique than other entries, trust me.
I really enjoyed it man fantastic job.

I would be just quoting Juke here when I say that your entry was seriously well made. What I especially love about it is how vibrant the colors were, and the simplicity in the artwork really added to the appeal of it, imo. The way how flowers interact with the wind and how simple they look, the mind blowingly good smoke explosion effect... And the fight scenes were pretty good too. Your movements COULD actually use some justice in terms of timing and spacing as they seem slower than they should be, but other than that, I can't see anything majorly off with animation. Really awesome job, Raymond!

Bro, I loved this part!
"So, we got the bomb?"
"Which bomb?"
._.
And then that bastard running in fatigue with the damn bomb, that was cool! haha, loved the color scheme too, and your movements are recognizable from miles away, very well done, bro :D!

Re: Ray's Thread: DDG Demo

Thanks again everyone! I decided to make a DDG character for the fun of it. Just in case I ever get the chance to battle one of you. I made the blood in flash if you couldn't tell, but the rest was made in Pivot.

That's some very nice stuff, I like how you smoothed and slowed the movements down

That was so smooth, dude. I really loved the blood, the fact that it was made in Flash doesn't make it any less amazing.

that is very good man, nice smooth motion and poses. i fear that some of it may be a little too stiff, like the guy firing the gun and the motion of the sword when blocking the bullets. its like his wrist is made of rock. i also feel like the spacing is the same throughout, so like everything happens at the same pace. but it is good man

I would think you need a strong wrist when deflecting bullets, otherwise the bullet would knock the sword out of your hand. Or you wouldn't be able to properly deflect it.

I see the stiffness though. I just can't be bothered to go back and edit it. If anything I would probably make it worse the second time around since I've already animated the camera movements. I didn't intend for this to be a big project. I spent 2 days on the overall animation, and 1 day on the blood. I wanted to test myself with this animation and see what I could make in a short time. Thank you for the comment though Harry, I see what I need to work on now.

And thanks to everyone else :)
Maybe we can battle sometime Tol. I really like your DDG character.
