@Reap: Yeah it is silly. Thanks for the momentum advice, I can see what youre saying for the most part.

@Stripes: For the most part I already knew that the buildup was a little weak, but yeah that landing could use some work. At the beginning I had him barely even react, because I wanted this to be more of a fun floaty anim. However I got a second opinion and decided to change it a little but still wanted to keep the original vision I had for this a little alive.

Thanks for the nice word Kirin!

Seriously though, fix the landing to make it more reactive and flowing, this could be calls for a move up if the things i pointed out earlier are fixed.

Holy crap that was good! Really nicely done man! I'm bothered by the easing on the last landing though, it looked out of place compared to how the rest of the animation flowed together.

I can see you're having difficulty slowing down the pace of the animation for stopping .
I think the way he landed was weak in the last part considering he did a double back flip before he landed .
The way it was eased seemed of aswell.

Really well done .

Thanks Cressel and Kirin, I'll rework the easing on the landing.

But I disagree with you on the landing, Kirin, being weak that is. The pose is fairly close to the standard landing position in gymnastics. Its also more common to under rotate a flip when going for a perfect landing than it is to over rotate. The pose is a little under rotated because thats the way I chose to have him flip. Having a perfect landing is very rare, and landing low on tricks where you get high air is also very common, especially if you under rotated. Also from personal experience I've done that first sequence, and thats the way I normally land on that one.

Edited the landing, so the butt dips further down to better show impact, and had him show off the stuck landing before rising at a more controlled rate.

E: While it doesn't flow very well, it really isn't supposed to.

Your landings in all your animations need working on. Besides that you are pretty much golden.
Edit: After looking at the piv. i have pinpointed your main issue, your spacing on the landings are pretty bad. Fix the spacing, make it more spaced out. On Frame 97 he should dip alot more down after that landing, and then you ease it down slower and slower, then slightly higher and higher and once you fix that your pretty much set.
2nd Edit: Looks better than what i thought.

That was very well done, my friend. I really enjoy your use of acrobatics, I would say this is borderline - Low inters. :) Keep animating! You're going somewhere!

I agree with Stripes on the landing. The spacing made the landing look quite stiff with how it stopped. In that pose I'd expect the stick-figure to slow down greatly, but not to a complete stop. Work on keeping that minuscule bit of momentum in places.

Other than that, the actual flips themselves were animated nicely. Great animation with some nice depth to it.
