Yogurt asked us to animate a combo: ROUNDHOUSE KICK > SPINNING BACK KICK > JAB > JAB > GET CREATIVE/FINISHER couldn't be bothered with the finisher.

That's actually pretty neat man. I'd like to see you animate a little more regularly. It's good to see something new from you anyway. The spacing is good and the 3D looks nice. I guess that's all I can really say.

Who is us? Who else has to animate a combo? Anyway, it was really fluid and enjoyable to watch. You transitioned each attack well.

It looks Intermediate to me, but it's short. I know it's hard not to, but try not to get too hung up on ranks. It can get intimidating if you think you have to animate to a certain standard each time. You might make some bad animations here and there (especially if you're branching out trying new things) but it's the only way you learn.

Sorry if you already know this or anything. I just get the weird feeling that this is how you approach your work. I used to think like this and it got to a point where animating just wasn't fun anymore. I was too scared to open up Pivot and before I knew it an entire year went by where I did nothing as a Veteran. I'm just speaking from personal experience, and I understand it might not be the same for you.

So if I have any advice, that would be it. The animation itself is absolutely fine. It's well eased, which is good considering that spacing used to be one of your weak points. I'm glad you haven't gotten rusty in that area.

Well that was anticlimactic.

It's a short animation, but it's pretty decent. Not too sure on the roundhouse kick poses, especially for the arms and he should turn on the toes/ball of the foot rather than on his heel. It was also sort of weird how he punches when his leg is still back. Made it look sorta powerless.

But yeah, I liked the overall spacing and it looks intermediate, although shorts are rather hard to rank well so not sure what it's worth.

It's short, but it does resemble your old style. Maybe the arms shrank a bit too much towards the end, but that's no big deal really. It's cool to see you animating again Blot. I would say it's intermediate worthy :]
