Greetings (previously Sway)

Hi, some of you may know me already. I had joined DarkDemon in 2007 and was an intermediate animator. I've been relatively inactive since 2010 but I had short bursts of activity now and then. I occasionally animated, but also in short bursts, and I really wanted to be part of DDC12.

Late to starting, but I was opening pivot this morning to do so. I got side-tracked and decided to check Animator.net and saw the debris that DarkAdmin caused...and it hurt a little, to see a site and community that I dedicated my teenage years to participate in so crushed down.

At the same time, I am beyond impressed at the strength of this community - it's really inspiring actually.

So I would like to 're-join', as such! This site feels much more homely in regards to what DD's design used to be, than what Animator.net is now, and even what DD was just prior to the switch. Good job!

Things are pretty swell, Dustin. I landed a full time I.T. job in a global business about 6 months ago. It's a job I'm really happy with, and it was a really lucky opportunity. I've been living healthier too. But then there's the lows of family issues, and the common combination of anxiety and living an existentialist reality. How are your things?

It's great to hear about that job, man.. and family issues tend to come and go regularly. I've been doing okay, can't say spectacular, but I've got a decent job and a nice lady by my side.

Yeah, i was blown away that site after site never stopped the community aswell, welcome back Sway.
