Thank you StickNodes!!!

Postby Bladez » Mon Jun 05, 2017 2:19 pm

One of the first things we learn as little kids is to always say "thank you" -- and of course, not to put our mouths on the water fountain, but that's a lesson for another day.

If someone does you a favor, if you're given a gift...Saying thank you is just good manners 101.

In this case, The owners of Sticknodes have given us the best present a forum and community could ever ask for.

They are allowing us to host Thedarkdemon on their new server. This is a huge help financially/stability for the forums.

Please show your thanks/appreciation and support Sticknode by purchasing their app ($1.99)

Lol thanks guys, and thanks Bladez and Raymond as well. I was running into server issues when Raymond offered up to share his hosting space, and Bladez has been working all sorts of voodoo web magic getting everything set up and running smoothly.

And thanks to everyone here who's tried out Stick Nodes as well, appreciate you. What started out as "Pivot for mobile devices" 2+ years ago really has evolved into quite the large project/community.

Lol, funny that you replied here. You offered up one of your stickfigures way back when I started the app and was looking for people to put their defaults into the app. I still have one of them included in the app by default and you're still in the credits lol.

You's all some good people. (thumbsup

You know, we wouldn't mind seeing sticknodes community with us here as well. Should be exciting to see. I did for a fact try out the app quite a few times on my mobile. It was a really fun experience especially when being outside home, but unfortunately display was too tiny to work a long
-enough animation without losing stamina lol—app is more suitable for tablets it seems, which makes total sense. I also can't thank you enough for the help you've given us here.

Nah I hear ya. I use it on my Nexus 6P which is a big phone, and it's pretty good. But on anything smaller than that shit gets serious. Maybe using a stylus at that point would help, and the app does support that by making touches exact/precise vs approximate with fingers.

But yeah on a tablet it's a completely different story, really helps the workflow.

No problem! Funny how this came full circle. I lived off of Pivot about 10 years ago as a kid, was constantly on the old DD.org site for years. Never really imagined I'd be in a comparable situation a decade later lmao.
