Send me a progress report within three days after your turn began to make sure something is being done. Once your turn begins, you have a week to animate. If nothing has been submitted within a week, you will be auto-skipped. If you have done good amount of progress but require an extension, let me know. If you don't feel like animating then delay your turn or don't participate; very little progress has been made on this joint in a period of over two months.
MCToast will be skipped for the time being since he hasn't done anything within the week. I'll cut everything except the last few frames of Anton's submission and pass it on to Clauraz; I expect I'll do it by tomorrow.
DOWNLOAD THE SANDBAG FILE HERE!
The idea is simple: land a combo or an attack on the sandbag. Weapons, effects, characters, everything is welcome in this collab.
Like this:
Don't animate anything that is againts the forum's rules, though.
About the joint-collab:
Any Rank can join the joint!
Animating program will be pivot 4
Canvas size is 800x450
I will start the joint. After the editing work, I send the file to the next animator who is in this case Fear.
When you join the joint, please try to stick with it. When you receive the file, tell me that you got it and do your part. If you won't answer to me within a week, you'll be skipped.
And let me make this clear:
You get the last 10 frames from the previous animator's entry. For further info of such actions, look down below.
When the 1st one has animated his/her part, it will be sent to me instead of 2nd animator. I will save the animation into a folder and create the first few frames for the next animator to continue from. Also, I will delete the stks that the previous animator used. Example: My animation with 63 frames will be saved and I'll take the last 3 frames from it and save it as another animation. Then I give that animation to the 2nd animator.
This has the following pros:
- The joint will be in pieces, so it doesn't take so long to load in Pivot.
Everyone can use their stks they don't want to get shared with the others.
You can animate with any framespeed you want.
All the other entries will come as a surprise!
Of course there are some cons, such as the thing that I have to edit the animation. But hey, it's my problem, not yours. :D Of course, if you want, you can do two files. One with your animation, and the second with the last few frames.
Also, is it okay to everyone if the sandbag will be in motion at the last few frames? For example if the previous animator performed an uppercut and sent the sandbag into the air, is it okay to end there while it spins in the air, or does it always have to be still on the ground in the end of every animation? You guys choose.
