I always use separate feet sticks, so that this doesn't happen and that I can move the leg more freely for better movement results.

I don't really have a lot of trouble with that since if you move the leg slightly it returns to the original size.
It can be a bit tedious but it isn't really a problem.

Haha wow, I had this problem countless times. However, the bigger the canvas and/or your stick is, the more precisely you can move the feet. So, when I started using a larger canvas this problem disappeared. Or you could just use seperate feet sticks, like MCToast.

I hated that, especially when makiung idle moves.. that is one of the little things that can make animating in pivot a bit bitter.

Peter Bone actually released a version of Pivot 4.1.2 which was only out for a few hours which fixed this, something about redrawing the figures correctly or something, but it made a lot of old piv files look incorrect and you can use the slight imperfections to your advantage, so he got rid of it.

So, in 4.1.10, the problem re-occurred?

it's not so much of a problem as a quirk
and yeah, all versions after 4.1.2 returned back to normal (and also 4.1.1)

That's actually an awesome idea. I'll probably do that from now on.
