How do you guys go about animating dismemberment?

I usually make a seperate stick of each limb, and put it all together with the join tool, how do you guys do it? :D

hmm. i think thats how all pivoteers animating dismemberment, unless they're using fullbodies, since FBs are already seperate parts.

i just basically put the amputated limb at the ready.
