Back in 2010, I was motivated by all the talent that beginners hall had, when awesome animators such as Hbomb, Cavolia, and Wind3h were just starting out. Looks like I have some catching up to do haha.

Same with you Cressel. I still remember our days on MSN, where we'd send each other pivot files all the time. You motivated me a lot back then, when you started animating like an Intermediate. It made me want to be as good as you.

I wouldn't say he was a rival, but OblivionFall motivated me a lot. I saw his animations and wanted to be as good as him. He made a mean post on WTFTeam and I wanted to prove him wrong. When I was animating DBZ 4 I was motivated by Senzo, although I never considered him a rival either.

A year or so back, Sifter influenced my style a lot. I finally saw the value in aiming for higher quality movement, so that pushed me.

Right now, I'd say Terkoiz is motivating me a lot. I've actually taken up drawing recently and hope to animate full-bodies in the near future while still working on DBZ 5 of course.
