If that were the purpose of this thread, who are you to tell someone not to quit. If someone no longer wants to do something that's up to them, not you.

imo ur taking animation too seriously. a key part of it is having fun. not scrutinizing over every little error and failure

while striving for perfection is understandable, getting better at animating just comes with time lol. and the thing is that u never stop getting better

Agreed. I've always said it was just about having fun. and getting better along the way is something you'll do. don't go into it everytime thinking it'll be a masterpiece. it's like any hobby. you grow more and more into it.

this was a jolly read by the way. have a good holidays.

It was just the other day someone told Mat, his hat was nice.

Who was this fucking person to tell whether his hat was nice or not.

So Mat beat the shit out of him and got away, charge-free of course, since he was totally in his right.

Big difference. The scenario you explained is simply giving a compliment which can be agreed with or disagreed with. The scenario I explained would be someone telling another person to do something they no longer have the desire to do without any benefit to them whatsoever.

He did say please. More of a request than a command. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush I guess.

Exactly. Besides, this was obviously meant more a recommendation/request than as a command.

Don't be ignorant, Mat, you know better.
