Stykz is, to a new animator, Pivot for mac. That probably explains a lot of its popularity.

that looks depressing, but pivot had it's high time, but now only those people who are interested in animating will look for it, i guess. but it is good to see that people still look for it, it would be worse if there would be zero queries.
