So friggen good :D New laptop arrived today, turns out I won't need to go to windows 7 so that's all good. But this things SUCH A POWERHOUSE! I ended up getting a HP Pavilion refurb from PCWorld for £340, would normally be about £550/£600. Processor Intel i5 4500U 1.6 Ghz (Turbo 2.3 Ghz) 8 GB RAM and pretty good graphics card (good for videos + basic games). It's so fast, especially transferring from a 7 year old tower that can barely browse internet and sometimes lags the simplest of pivot animations. I can't get over how refreshing it feels to do stuff without any fustration.

Also, it may just be the acoustics (I'm in my room rather than downstairs) but the sound quality is better, even through the same speakers :o
Only downsides, tiny keyboard, even for a laptop and I'm not allowed internet in here (It'll be gone on Tuesday for me). That means I'll become slightly less active here because I'll be making animations up here, and also music now :D I can't wait to get started!

£99 They're monitors. Came out of my wallet :/ but they're completely worth it. They play the sounds how they are (unlike Hifi which 'colour' the sound, and most speakers are Hifi) so it makes them excellent for music production, which is what I will be doing in the near future. Excellent range, goes down to about 40Hz and up to a lot (haven't tested). Humans can only hear down to 20hz MAX so it's really good.

Those speakers look badass. I envy you man, all I have to make music is a pair of year old Turtle Beaches.

Pretty excited, got a job near by my house at a computer store just helping put shit together. Since I love computers I know i'm not going to mind it at all, so the cash will pile up easy for me...at least I hope lol.
