To quarantine Texas from the rest of the world (even though Texas obviously isn't the only location with this problem), we should place bombs along the border between Mexico and the U.S. It'll separate from the mainland and create a massive ebola-filled island. Then, we mount rockets on the bottom to launch it to the Moon. It will become a tourist attraction accumulating immense revenue for the Earth Federation, which has come to form since the launch of Project: Texas 50 years ago. After some million or so years, the Sun will expand and kill us all.

I really hope the spread stops. Doesn't it have a death rate of 1 in 2?
I heard on the radio an hour ago that in Copenhagen and Madrid there are a few people that are in risk of having it.

I'm in pennsylvania so I'm not worried in the slightest. I feel like this is just being over exaggerated for the sake of an interesting news story. Swineflu2.0

@LP Yeah, it's around there.
The few sources I checked were either a 50% or 70% mortality rate. The scare factor of this whole ordeal heavily outweighs the actual danger.

The government sure loves to create mass panic huh? That fearmongering.

In a civilized country the risk of catching Ebola is severely reduced. Given that you can only catch it through bodily fluids, simply having good hygiene is an effective deterrent. Humanitarian and health care workers are at risk, yes. But there's really no reason to worry about the general populace. Some people are treating it like the zombie apocalypse. It's ridiculous.
