Pets!

Postby Lionheart » Sat Jan 16, 2016 10:03 pm

This is a topic to discuss the pets you have, have had, or want in the future. Personally I feel that I've always had a connection with animals, and of course I love seeing them and hearing about them, so post pictures and stories!

Recently, my very impulsive friend bought a chinchilla. He's in the National Guard (left for Germany 3 days after getting this thing) and also works off-shore welding on oil rigs (28 days out, 14 days in), so my girlfriend and I were basically given a chinchilla to take care of. I absolutely love this little creature now.

Originally, I didn't think my friend would find one available around where we live, but it turns out there was a breeder a few hours away that said she had one available. So my friend brings me along for the journey to get a chinchilla. Eventually we get there and the lady reveals to us why this particular chinchilla is for sale; she was retired from breeding because she would eat the heads off of her offspring. Isn't that cute?

I have a Yorkshire Terrier, she's like four years old now but behaves as if she was still a puppy.

I've got 3 dogs. A black german shepherd named Lola, a shih tzu maltese named Wrigley, and a golden retriever named Jazzy.

I have a dog that lives with my parents named Monty. He's a beagle german shepherd mix. My friend also has a beagle named Mary that I'm taking care of half of the time since I live next door. She's a little shit that shits in the apartment all the time but we still love her.

I have a black Labrador called Bertie. I don't have many recent pictures though, most of the ones I took were from when he was a puppy.
