the only announcement that needed to be updated was the blood collab, which failed miserably.

and what do you mean update the forums? it's perfectly fine as it is.

GUYS! Not sure if anyone remembers me but I was Valium back in the day. It was an honour and a pleasure to have worked alongside rankteam. What happened to DD with animator.net and everything? I thought everything moved to animator.net until I noticed this site was up? Someone please explain, I'm so confused :( this was my childhood lol

Alright, I'll give you the condensed version of what happened

-Chimera sold the site sometimes back
-Person named DarkAdmin bought the site
-Said he wanted to change everything to be more animator-in-general friendly
-Moved the site to animator.net
-God awful site
-We had no control to do anything because DarkAdmin disappeared
-This site was created so that way we had control over the forums

- They changed the site from phpbb to vbulletin.
- They abandoned the site.
- The layout was messed up and the forum itself broken in places.
- Admins/Mods didn't actually have the powers they were supposed to have.
- Activity dropped off quite badly.
- Members were up in arms over it, many of the older members and staff basically left in an exodus.
- Juke started up a new forum with the help of Minifrij and lots of other people (don't really remember or if my memory's accurate, but there were definitely others that helped).
- New forum gets advertised on animator.net, and DA comes back just in time to see this. Members start getting banned left and right. Anyone that mentions the new DD gets banned.
- Also, apparently when he bought the site it meant he also owned the old DD logo as well as some other copyrighted things.
- The old YouTube channel also may have been bought in the deal. Recently, all the videos on the old channel got DMCA claimed by the very same channel, so they can't be watched.

Anyway, basically a lot of crazy things happened.

It's good to see you again Valium. I remember when you were on DD as a Rank Team member. That was also the time before I even knew what the hell Valium was. :p
